(1) IV National Conference of IAOP [Indian Association of Oral
Pathologists] was organised in 1995 with Dr.Alka Kale as the organising chairperson and Dr.Ramakant Nayak as the organising secretary.
(2) Ist National Conference of ‘Triple O’ [Oral Medicine, oral Pathology And Oral Surgery] was organised in the Institute in the year 1998 with Dr.Alka Kale as the organising secretary and Dr.Ramakant Nayak as the joint secretary.
(3) 29th Karnataka State Dental Conference was organised in Nov.2000 with Dr.Ramakant Nayak as the organising secretary and Dr.Alka Kale as Chairman scientific committee and Dr.S.S.Bhalerao, Chairman Transport and Accommodation.
(4) Yearly Scientific Meets:Every year there are scientific meets held in the college. Dr.Alka Kale,Professor and Head of the department was the chairman and chairperson for the IInd Scientific Convention,
(5) 2 days Workshop on ‘HIV’ organised by the department in which Dr.B.V.V.Ravikumar Director X-cyton diagnostics, Bangalore participated.
(6) 1st Alumni meet on 11th & 12th June 2004. Scientific programme included guest lecture by Dr Hazaray Principal & Dean GDC Nagpur on following topics:Epithelial dysplasia, Salivary gland tumour & odontogenic tumors
(7) Organised CDE on Human Genome By Pakhmode Pune
(8) Guest lecture by Dr Praveen Post Doctoral Fellow ,NIAH, Maryland US, ex PG of the department on 3rd Dec 2004 on the topics Scope of Dentists in research abroad Molecular aspects of wound healing
(9) Guest lecture followed by hands on demonstration on FNAC by Dr P V Patil was organized during PG exchange programme
(10) Collaboration With Extra-Mural Organisations/Institutions There are yearly exchange programmes of the students with other institutions of the country.
(11) VI National PG Convention & Workshop (Education in oral Pathology) Held on 11th & 12th August 2006 with Dr. Alka Kale as chairperson & Dr. Seema Hallikerimath as organizing secretary.
